Full Stack Engineer

About this role
Peham is a software development company that builds custom systems and operates its own SaaS products. Full stack engineers here work across the stack — from database schema to polished UI — with ownership over features end to end.
We use TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node-style backends in production. You will join a small team where code review, testing, and documentation are part of shipping — not afterthoughts.
We hire for craft and judgment. Seniority is flexible if you can demonstrate reliable delivery and sound engineering habits.
What you will do
- Design and implement features across frontend, backend, and data layers.
- Build REST or RPC APIs with clear contracts, validation, and error handling.
- Develop responsive, accessible UIs in React with attention to performance and maintainability.
- Write tests where they protect real behaviour — not coverage theatre.
- Participate in code review, architecture discussions, and incident follow-ups.
- Integrate third-party services: payments, email, auth, analytics, and AI APIs where relevant.
- Improve developer experience: tooling, CI, observability, and documentation.
- Support deployments and production issues with a fix-forward mindset.
What we are looking for
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern React.
- Experience building and consuming HTTP APIs in production.
- Comfort with SQL databases and basic data modelling.
- Git workflow fluency: branches, PRs, and readable commit history.
- Ability to debug across browser, server, and network boundaries.
- Clear written communication for specs, PR descriptions, and async updates.
Nice to have
- Next.js App Router, Prisma, or similar full-stack tooling.
- Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, or equivalent).
- Experience with ERP, ecommerce, or workflow-heavy domains.
- Interest in AI-assisted development without sacrificing code quality.
