Peham is a product and services company with growing revenue, payroll, and cross-border software operations. We need finance discipline that keeps us compliant today and scalable tomorrow.
This role owns statutory compliance, taxation, and the reporting rhythms leadership relies on. You will work closely with founders and operations — not buried in a siloed finance department.
We value accuracy, documentation, and proactive communication over reactive firefighting at filing deadlines.
What you will do
- Manage statutory compliance filings, registrations, and renewals relevant to a private limited company in Pakistan.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, returns, and supporting schedules with clear audit trails.
- Maintain books, reconciliations, and month-end close routines aligned with management reporting needs.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks as needed.
- Document finance policies and processes so work is repeatable as the team grows.
- Support payroll, vendor payments, and expense workflows with proper controls.
- Flag compliance risks early and propose practical remediation.
- Provide leadership with clear financial summaries — not spreadsheet dumps.
What we are looking for
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, ICMA, or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Pakistan corporate tax, sales tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and habit of keeping clean, dated documentation.
- Comfort explaining financial concepts plainly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive company data.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting technology or SaaS revenue models.
- Familiarity with international invoicing or export-related compliance.
- Process improvement mindset — automating repetitive finance tasks where sensible.
