About this role
Peham builds and operates production software for clients and our own SaaS products. As a software engineering intern, you will not sit on the sidelines — you will contribute to real codebases with guidance from the team.
We use TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node-style backends. Expect pairing sessions, thoughtful code review, and small scoped tasks that grow as you do.
You might be a student, a recent graduate, or someone switching into software. We care about curiosity, follow-through, and clear communication more than a long résumé.
What you will do
- Implement small features and fixes across frontend and backend with review from a mentor.
- Write and update tests where they protect real behaviour.
- Participate in stand-ups, PR reviews, and documentation updates.
- Learn our stack, tooling, and deployment workflow hands-on.
- Ask questions early and document what you learn for the next person.
What we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program or graduated within the last 12 months.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and basic HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with Git: branches, commits, and pull requests.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or coursework that shows you have built something.
- Reliable written English for async updates and PR descriptions.
- Willingness to receive feedback and iterate.
Nice to have
- Experience with React or Next.js.
- Side projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Interest in ERP, ecommerce, or workflow-heavy products.
